TOA Addresses UHF Wireless Spectrum Changes December 1, 2008 — SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, CA — TOA Electronics, Inc. a manufacturer of premier audio and security products, today announced changes to its line of UHF wireless microphone systems to address the recent actions of the FCC regarding wireless microphone technology, 700MHz spectrum reallocation, and the digital television (DTV) transition. Effective December 1, 2008, TOA’s UHF wireless microphone products will be capable of operating on the E and F frequency bands, and will be denoted as such with an “E01” or “F01” extension on each wireless microphone model number. These upgraded systems will be similar to the current A01 700MHz Frequency models, but will operate using the white spaces between active DTV channels in the 600 MHz band.
