N-8000 Certification Class - 2021 Information & Schedule
TOA Electronics is once again offering Certification on the N-8000 Intercom System for interested dealers or specifiers.
These trainings will be held the 2nd Wednesday/Thursday of every month, starting on February 10th and 11th, 2021.
All participants must register at least 10 days prior to the class. Class size is limited to 10 participants.
Classes run over two days and start at 9AM Pacific time. Please allow 4 hours per day for this training.
TRAINING WILL BE OVER ZOOM
Users who are going to connect to the system while viewing the class will require a Wi-Fi connection for Zoom and a LAN connection for the N-8000.
Each participant will be required to have a computer or laptop with full administrative rights so that the N-8000 programming software and SQL Express can be installed. Software must be installed and working prior to starting the class.
WE SUGGEST HAVING -
Access to one N-8600MS master station, one N-8000AF, and at least one of the following:
· Qty 1 N-8640DS or N-8650DS or
· Qty 1 N-8010RS or N-8000RS with qty 1 RS-140 call switch and qty 1 PC-580RU 25V loudspeaker or
· Qty 1 N-8010EX or N-8000EX with qty 1 N-8050DS or
· Qty 1 N-8400RS with qty 1 RS-450
· An unmanaged 10/100 Base-T Ethernet switch with PoE for the N-8600MS and N-8640DS/N-8650DS is required.
Course will cover:
Overview of functions and applications for IP only systems
Overview of functions and applications for 2-wire systems (based on N-8000EX)
Overview of functions and applications for 3-wire systems (based on N-8000RS)
Overview of functions and applications for 4-wire systems (based on N-8400RS)
Overview of functions and applications for special function devices
Connection of the system to a local area network (Best practices)
Programming the N-8000 system
Troubleshooting the N-8000 system
Using the N-8000 system with a SIP phone system
Using the N-8000 system with an analog phone system
N-8000 tips and tricks
A written test and two programming examples are required to become Certified on the N-8000.
CERTIFICATION IS GOOD FOR 2 YEARS
