D-2000 System

The TOA D-2000 Series Digital Mixer is designed to provide highly flexible mixing for small to medium-sized applications. Up to four Digital Mixing Processor Units and Remote Control Units can be connected to suit the actual size of the venue. Each unit is controlled via a LAN, enabling decentralized installation. Additionally, customization for a wide variety of applications is smoothly and easily effected, thanks to the eight available slots for input/output modules.

D-2008SP

The D-2008SP Digital Mixing Processor Unit is designed to have up to 32 audio inputs and outputs in total, and to be mounted in an EIA standard equipment rack (3U size). A built-in powerful signal processing function permits the unit to be used as both a mixer and a signal processor. Its audio input/output and control ports can accept optional plug-in modules, making the unit have a maximum of 32 inputs or 32 outputs and up to 2 control modules. Using the following optional modules enables the unit to perform their functions: Two D-983s for providing a maximum of 48 contact inputs and 32 contact outputs, D-984VC for VCA control, and D-2000CB for audio data transfer between multiple D-2008SP units. Each function is set by the dedicated setting software on a PC. Setting contents can be stored in the unit's internal memory as preset memory, which can be recalled by the D-2008SP without using a PC. The D-2012C, when connected, remotely controls the D-2008SP's basic operations such as volume control.

The Q-D-2012C is a 6U rack mountable Remote Console Unit designed for exclusive use with the D-2008SP Digital Mixing Processor Unit. Assigned to any desired channels inside the D-2008SP by the dedicated software, the Q-D-2012C's 12 motorized faders and 8 rotary encoders can remotely adjust their volumes. Desired preset memories can be recalled using 8 function keys. It is equipped with 1 channel line input (stereo), which allows the audio signal to be transmitted to the D-2008SP via monitor bus. Audio signals inside the D-2008SP can be monitored via monitor bus through headphones connected to a stereo headphone output. The Q-D-2012C can be installed on a desk with the additional use of an optional Q-D-2012AS Console Case.

The D-2000DA1 Line Output Module is designed for use with the D-2008SP Digital Mixing Processor Unit and features high quality sound. The output level of each output terminal can be independently set to either +4 dB or -10 dB and its output mode independently set to either balanced or unbalanced type by the built-in DIP switch. It employs XLR type connectors.

The D-936R is a 4 stereo input module designed for use with the D-901 Digital Mixer, etc. It is equipped with standard RCA pin jacks. The D-936R features two stereo transmission modes: 1)Selection of one of the four stereo inputs for transmission to the D-901. 2)Mixing of all four stereo inputs, transmitting the mixed signal to the D-901 through left/right channel outputs. Mode settings and stereo selection are performed at the main frame such as the D-901.

The D-984VC is a dedicated VCA control module designed for use with the D-901 Digital Mixer. It expands the D-901 Digital Mixer's functions by 20 VCA control inputs, 8 contact inputs, and 8 contact outputs. By the VCA controls from external equipment, this module permits the D-901's gains of 12 inputs and 8 outputs to be controlled. By the contact input controls from external equipment, this module permits the preset memory recall, input/output channel gains, stereo input selection, and channel ON/OFF to be controlled. By the contact output controls Tally outputs can also be provided for external control.
