Korea: Seoul Subway
The Seoul Subway is a metropolitan railway system consisting of 22 rapid transit, light metro, commuter rail and people mover lines located in northwest South Korea. The system serves most of the Seoul Metropolitan Area including the Incheon metropolis and satellite cities in Gyeonggi province.
TOA plays an important part in the safety and security of approximately 90 subway stations in the South Korean capital. Images from our cameras are transmitted from each station to a central control room to check passenger flow and prevent crime on subway platforms, thereby maintaining the safety of Seoul's citizens.
